In Colombo, Sri Lanka; Jacqueline Fernandez was born to a Malay Sri Lankan mother and a Sinhalese Sri Lankan father on June, 1985. She is thus, half Malaysian and half Sri Lankan. Having born as the daughter of Elroy Fernandez (Sri Lankan) and Kim (Malaysian), Jacqueline has three siblings - two brothers and an elder sister. Her family moved to Bahrain when she was at her age of three.
